I am so glad I stumbled upon this book! This is very well-written and stuffed with tons of good information. If you are a parent or have any young minds in your life that have access to the internet--literally everyone nowadays--you need this book. Very happy I found this! Recommend.
This in my opinion is a very good book on a topic that is becoming increasingly important both for our children and for ourselves even though with age we think we are immune to the phenomenon. Instead in every post, comment, video that we post we could be the victims of cyberbullying. In the book there are real stories that exemplify the phenomenon and that give us a guide on what we should do in case we find ourselves in one of these unfortunate situations. There is a lot of practical advice on how to deal with situations. Very useful. I received a copy of the book and I am deliberately reviewing it.
to the point! was looking for that kinda book for a while!
The book Behind the Keyboard takes a thoughtful and useful method to explaining cyberbullying. The author, Sabrina Carol, does a great job of explaining the psychology behind cyberbullying and giving parents and teachers useful advice. I really liked the real-life stories and how the focus was on healing and avoiding problems. Even though I would have liked more case studies or expert opinions.
Online bullying is clearly a huuuuge problem. I am so glad to read a book about what it is, why it is, and how to overcome it. Everything from how to respond legally to this problem (great resource details included for hotlines and support orgs) to how to heal and move is covered in this book. Very timely and well done!
